Early in 2022 we were offered a space in a beautiful old building in Millbank, Ontario to open our first coffee shop! This is a dream come true, as it will provide an avenue to give toward a local organization working with women, and to be able to offer survivors paid internships in a trauma-informed workplace.

We are beyond excited about this possibility and we need you to rally with us in order to make it happen!

COFFEE COMPANY IN BRAZIL
Hope Ministries - Joao Pessoa, Brazil
Jen and Phil started Hope Ministries several years ago as a way to reach out to women prostituting on the streets of their city out of desperation.
​
In 2021, with the help of generous donors in the community, we were able to fully fund the starting of a coffee company that will be owned and operated by Hope Ministries and their Brazilian staff, and will provide not just sustainability for their organization, but eventually safe employment for the women who want to get off the street.
​
We have now sourced the farmers that we want to work with, they are a collective of women farmers who are excellent at their craft and so excited to be a part of what Jen and Phil are wanting to do with the coffee as well.
​
The next stage is to choose the coffee we want to sell, finish making a marketing and business plan and then open the doors and see what happens!
